Facility Improvements Underway at Centenary Park Golf Course

Facility Improvements Underway at Centenary Park Golf Course

We’re excited to share that a series of planned improvement works will soon commence at the Centenary Park Golf Course Pro Shop, helping create a more welcoming and comfortable experience for our golfing community.

Working in partnership with Frankston City Council, these essential upgrades are an important step in our ongoing investment in Centenary Park Golf Course.

What’s being improved?

The planned works include:

  • Partial subfloor replacement and new external decking
  • New carpet throughout the facility
  • Updated kitchen benches
  • Fresh internal painting

Important: Temporary changes on Wednesday 5 August

To allow the maintenance works to take place safely, the Pro Shop will be temporarily closed on Wednesday 5 August, with works scheduled from 7am.

The Centenary Park Golf Club have kindly volunteerd their Clubhouse to host us for the day. Golf Operations will continue from the Clubhouse, and we’ll have everything in place to ensure you can still enjoy your round or a hit at the range.

What you need to know

All day on Wednesday 5 August:

  • The Pro Shop will be closed and inaccessible.
  • When you arrive, do not go to the Pro Shop. Instead, please head to the Clubhouse where our Golf Operations team will greet you.
  • Golf rounds will operate as normal. Please book your round here.
  • Tee times can still be booked in person at the Clubhouse.
  • Only EFTPOS payments will be accepted; cash payments will not be available all day.
  • Golf carts will be available and temporarily located on the grass near the putting green.
  • The driving range will remain open using the tap-and-go ball dispenser, as normal.
  • Essential retail items, including golf balls and tees, will still be available for purchase.
  • The Cafe & Bar will be closed, with limited grab-and-go items available from the Clubhouse.
  • During the works, our phone lines may be temporarily unavailable. If you need to contact us, please send us an email via info@cpgolf.com.au and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Operations will return to normal from opening on Thursday 6 August, with the Pro Shop, full retail offering, and Café & Bar menu all back in operation as normal.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these improvements.

These works are just the beginning of our investment in Centenary Park Golf Course, and we look forward to welcoming you back to an even better experience off the course.

Have you heard of Habit Stacking? 🤔

It's a great way to add movement into your day by pairing small exercises with habits you already do - helping you be active and achieve 30-20-2, even when life is busy!

You can incorporate simple exercises into your daily task, such as:
- Squats while the kettle boils - turn waiting time into movement time.
- Calf raises while brushing your teeth - two minutes of strength, twice a day.
- Lunges down the hallway - every trip becomes a mini workout.
- Marching on the spot while folding laundry- complete some of your vigorous or moderate exercise every trip.
- Glute squeezes while sitting at your desk - perfect for busy workdays.

Remember, all movement counts 🙌
