This year, we’ve been sharing our formula for better health, 30-20-2, choose what you want to do. It’s a simple approach to wellbeing that encourages regular movement and strength training.
The good news? Improving your health and wellbeing doesn’t have to mean choosing just one activity or committing to a rigid fitness program. Because good health isn’t just about exercise, it’s about creating habits that work for you to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
With the seasons changing, spring naturally encourages us to refresh our routines and prioritise our health and wellbeing as we enjoy longer and warmer days.
To help you refocus, we’ve put together some simple ways to reset your routine and stay motivated.
- Try something new: there are so many different ways to move and be active. If you’re routine hasn’t changed, why not try something new. Change up the equipment you use in the gym, jump into a different Group Exercise class, or dive into the pool for some laps.
- Get Back to Basics: if you’ve fallen out of routine over winter, don’t feel like you need to do everything at once. Start with small, manageable changes and focus on consistency rather than perfection.
- Prioritise recovery: recovery is an important part of any exercise routine, and can help you stay consistent in the long term. Make time to stretch and visit the spa, sauna or steam room to rest your muscles.
- Explore the Digital Hub: Find workout inspiration with our 30-20-2 Digital Hub, which has free downloadable workouts, training tips and wellbeing content to help keep your routine engaging and support you in achieving your 30-20-2.
