Upcoming HVAC improvement works

We are undertaking two important HVAC improvement projects at PARC from Monday 5 October to Friday 16 October.

These works are designed to improve ventilation throughout key areas of the facility and support the long-term reliability of important equipment.

Rust Air Duct Rectification Works

As part of our ongoing facility maintenance, we’ll be replacing a section of rusted air ducting that supplies fresh air to areas near our Group Exercise studios.

To safely complete these works, a section of the ceiling between the entrance to Studio 2 and the locker area will need to be temporarily removed and the surrounding area barricaded off.

Access to Studio 2 and all Group Exercise classes will remain available as normal, with no classes impacted. A section of the corridor near the studios will be temporarily closed, with some lockers unavailable while works are underway. Members are asked to follow all directional signage and staff instructions during this period.

Warm Water Pool Access Change Room Ventilation Upgrade

We are also installing an additional fresh air supply system to both Warm Water Pool access change rooms.

This upgrade will improve ventilation within these spaces and help reduce the impact of moisture-related corrosion on essential accessibility equipment, including hoists and change tables. By improving air circulation, we can help keep this equipment operating at its best and minimise future service disruptions.

To allow these works to be completed safely both Warm Water Pool access change rooms will be temporarily closed from Monday 5 October to Friday 16 October.

Alternative accessible change facilities are available in the Family Change area as well as upstairs, which is accessible via the elevator. Our team will be on hand to assist members who require support.

Thank you for your patience

We understand that temporary closures can be inconvenient and appreciate your patience while these important improvements are completed. These works form part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining high-quality facilities and ensuring the best possible experience for everyone who visits PARC.

If you have any questions about these works, please speak with our team at Reception or contact us before your visit.
