2024: Your Year at PARC

Your Year at PARC: Seeing out 2024 in style, and finding Your Pace in 2025

As 2024 comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared with our PARC community this year.

This year’s theme – Your People, Your Purpose, and Your Place at PARC – invited us to connect with ourselves and with others, celebrating the powerful relationships and shared goals of health and wellbeing.

You inspired us with your stories of motivation, whether it was about the friends who encouraged you, the personal milestones you achieved, or the sense of belonging you discovered at PARC. Together, we created a community that celebrated connection, wellbeing, and support.

As we look to the future, we’re thrilled to unveil our 2025 theme: At your pace with PARC. This theme is all about discovering the rhythm that suits your unique health and fitness journey. Whether your pace is fast or slow, steady or evolving, recovering or elite, PARC is here to meet you where you are and help you keep progressing.

In 2025, we’ll focus on embracing personal progress, celebrating every step of the way. From seasoned fitness enthusiasts to those just starting out, this coming year will be about recognising and supporting your health journey.

Stay tuned for informative blogs, events, and resources tailored to help you find and maintain your pace and progress throughout 2025. We’ll continue to share tips, inspiration, and success stories through the PARC Blog, supporting your growth.

Thank you for making 2024 unforgettable. Let’s move forward into 2025 with intention, enthusiasm, and a commitment to finding the pace that brings out the best in your health and wellbeing.

Here’s to another incredible year at PARC – 10 years this year in 2024 – your people, your purpose, your place, and now, your pace.

This week, our PARC Swim team have organised some Commonwealth Games themed fun, to celebrate our Aussie athletes, who are absolutely dominating this year! 🥇

To celebrate, our PARC Swim teachers will include a small segment in this week’s lessons, using our snakes and ladders game, aligning a swimming activity with a participating sporting event 🏊🏃

Make sure to check out our activity table, and show support for Australia, or any other participating country by wearing their colours to your lesson this week!
Have you heard of Habit Stacking? 🤔

It's a great way to add movement into your day by pairing small exercises with habits you already do - helping you be active and achieve 30-20-2, even when life is busy!

You can incorporate simple exercises into your daily task, such as:
- Squats while the kettle boils - turn waiting time into movement time.
- Calf raises while brushing your teeth - two minutes of strength, twice a day.
- Lunges down the hallway - every trip becomes a mini workout.
- Marching on the spot while folding laundry- complete some of your vigorous or moderate exercise every trip.
- Glute squeezes while sitting at your desk - perfect for busy workdays.

Remember, all movement counts 🙌

For more information about 30-20-2, or helpful resources and workouts to get you moving, head to our Digital Hub.
