PARC partnering with AUSTSWIM and Allianz

We are very pleased to be a participating facility in the Allianz Australia Swim Club program, as one of three Victorian centres. This program has been designed in partnership with AUSTSWIM and Masters Swimming Australia to offer a free 8 week learn-to-swim program, specifically designed for adults.

This is a very exciting opportunity for Peninsula Leisure and PARC Swim to instil a love of water and equip our community with the skills they need to be safer when enjoying all aquatic environments.

PARC Swim manager, Leah Andrews, is delighted by the opportunity and excited for her team to help make a splash!

PARC is very proud to be a participating facility in the Allianz Swim Club. To be able to provide a free swimming program, that features a social connection for adults in our community who have very low swimming ability is a fantastic initiative, especially leading into summer,” said Leah.

“The hope is by the end of the program we will have confident and importantly, much safer adults who will be able to enjoy water activities with their family and friends.”

We are thrilled to be able to support our community learn fundamental swimming and water safety skills, preparing them for summer and years to come.

Important Centre Update: Main Pool Hall Closure
Thursday 31 July, back open on Monday 18 August

Please be advised that the entire Main Pool Hall will be closed from Thursday 31 July to Monday 18 August to allow for essential, unplanned boiler replacement works. During this period, there will also be no hot water to the showers Centre-wide.

One of the most important systems in our facility is the boiler system, which heats our pools and showers. Unfortunately, we recently experienced an unexpected fault that impacted heating water. As a result, we’re fast-tracking a major replacement to this critical system to restore full comfort and ensure long-term reliability. To safely complete these works, the entire Main Pool Hall will be closed from Thursday 31 July to Monday 18 August.

The Warm Water Pool and Spa remain operating as normal.

Please visit our website to learn more about these works and impacted services during this time: https://parc.peninsulaleisure.com.au/alerts/important-centre-update-main-50m-pool-closure-30-june-27-july/

If you would like to suspend your membership for the closure period, you can do so via our website: https://bit.ly/4b35AsV Suspensions used will not go towards members’ allowable suspensions days.

Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we carry out this important replacement. We look forward to welcoming you back to a warmer PARC Main Pool Hall from Monday 18 August.
Please note the Sauna will be closed for tiling replacement works from Monday 28 July to Saturday 30 August. 🛠

The maintenance works include demolishing current tiles, retiling, and replacement of all internal timber.

The Steam Room, Spa and Warm Water Pool will remain open as normal. ✅

This is the final stage of the Rolling Tile Replacement Project. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to enhance your PARC experience with these important upgrades.
