BODY BALANCE Classes at PARC

In our busy daily routines, it’s essential to find a workout that benefits our physical health and mental well-being. Body Balance, a perfect blend of Tai Chi, Pilates, and Yoga, offers just that. This class improves joint mobility, core strength, and flexibility, while also providing a sense of relaxation and calmness. This holistic approach not only strengthens the body but also soothes the mind, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to achieve a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Body Balance classes are suited to everyone, whether you’re an experienced yogi, a fitness enthusiast or just beginning there’s something for everyone in this class. Let’s jump into the number of benefits that these classes can provide.

Improves balance and coordination
Just as the name suggests, Body Balance classes are the perfect fit for helping improve your balance and co-ordination, through a variety of exercises that focus on spatial awareness and feeling movement through the body. By focusing on slow purposeful movements and stability exercises, you’ll enhance your body’s awareness and control, leading to improved balance and coordination

Strengthens core muscles
One of the most noticeable benefits of the body balance classes will be a strengthened core. With a foundation of Tai Chi and Yoga principles,  you’ll be able to strengthen your core, which also supports the muscles around your lower back. Through slow purposeful movements you’ll be able to stretch and build your core strength effectively.

Reduces stress and anxiety
Body Balance classes also offer a space to unwind, relax and re-connect with yourself. Exercise releases endorphins, the body’s natural stress relievers, helping to improve mood. The element of Yoga also helps to promote mindfulness and meditative practices so you can quiet your mind and relax.

Whether you’re new to fitness or seeking a more relaxed way to stay active, Body Balance provides the perfect opportunity to embrace a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. The classes are beginner friendly, with an emphasis on going at your own pace and really focusing on yourself and your movements. While not as vigorous as other fast paced classes, we invite you to feel the increased flexibility, improved strength and reduced stress that Body Balance brings.
