Are you looking for flexible, fun and interesting profession? 

Join our PARC Swim STAR Program and share your energy and enthusiasm with our fun and friendly PARC community.   

Swimming lessons and water safety education are important for all people living in Australia. Being a Swim Teacher is a rewarding position where you teach people of all ages how to swim and be confident in and around water. You do not need experience. You do need confidence to give it a go! Sound interesting? 

Our PARC Swim STAR Program is a free program, allowing you to become a qualified Swim Teacher, and get paid while you undergo your training! 

What’s included? 

  • Offer of employment as a Swim Teacher with PARC
  • Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Course
  • CPR Course
  • Working With Children Check
  • Paid water and training placement hours to become a qualified Swim Teacher

We will be holding an Information Night on Wednesday 9 February at 5.30pm – 6.30pm at PARC Creche. Please complete the Expression of Interest Form, and then come along to find out what’s involved.

The program is open to the entire Frankston community. To apply, simply visit our PARC Swim Star page HERE and complete an expression of interest form. Be quick, places in our program will go fast.

Note – Expression of interest for our next intake will close at midnight on Wednesday 9 February 2022.

Expressions of Interest are open for our Teen Can Swim program 🏊

📅 5 Week Can Swim Program, commencing Monday 17 August
🏊 Who: Teenagers aged 13-17 with little to no swimming experience or confidence
🕣 Commitment: 1x 45minute session per week, over 5 weeks
🩵 Cost: Fully subsidised by Peninsula Leisure and Frankston City Council

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! 💚💛

This week, our PARC Swim team have organised some Commonwealth Games themed fun, to celebrate our Aussie athletes, who are absolutely dominating this year! 🥇

To celebrate, our PARC Swim teachers will include a small segment in this week’s lessons, using our snakes and ladders game, aligning a swimming activity with a participating sporting event 🏊🏃

Make sure to check out our activity table, and show support for Australia, or any other participating country by wearing their colours to your lesson this week!
