Lisa and Kath represent PL at Industry Conference

Peninsula Leisure was proudly represented by General Manager – Business Improvement, Lisa Newman-Morris and CEO, Kath Thom at the recent ARV Industry Conference.

It was an honour to watch Kath and Lisa speak at the conference, representing PL’s values on the industry stage.

GM Business Improvement, Lisa Newman-Morris spoke on our Value Proposition Strategy – attracting new members without membership discounts. Lisa is passionate about PARC’s value proposition and is delighted to have seen significant growth in the number of members at PARC, without offering financial incentives.

“It was such a privilege being able to represent Peninsula Leisure and share our success story of membership growth without discounting,” said Lisa.

“We have proven that focusing on our Values whilst also providing value to our community works, and that our commitment to our Membership Sales & Retention Strategy has positioned us as industry leaders.”

CEO Kath Thom facilitated an all-female panel about the stories and successes of women in the Aquatics industry. Kath was thrilled to hear directly from the talented professionals within the sector and how their careers have progressed to date.

“Facilitating the all-female panel ‘Women in Our Industry’ was a unique opportunity to hear directly from a wonderful array of talented professionals within the sector,” said Kath.

“Each with a different perspective, we heard how they progressed in their career to-date, experiences that acted to either red/green light success, current challenges we all face and useful advice about how we can each best use our influence to advance the role of women in Aquatics and Recreation.”

We are delighted to have been represented by two incredible female industry leaders at the ARV, well done Kath and Lisa!
