Important Centre Update: Main 50m Pool closure 30 June – 27 July

Closure Notice: The 50m Pool will be closed from Monday 30 June – Sunday 27 July

In partnership with the Frankston City Council, we will be undertaking significant tiling and improvement works in the Main 50m Pool. This means that the Main 50m Pool will be closed from Monday 30 June – Sunday 27 July (4 week closure period).

Specialised facilities, like PARC, require regular upgrades to ensure the life of the building remains fit-for-purpose and safe for the community. Now 10 years old, the building has seen incredible usage and we are now embarking on an important stage in our tile replacement project.

What work is being done?
The primary focus of this work will be replacing the tiles on the bulk heads at each end of the 50m pool. This will include the re-earthing of the 50m pool fixtures. We are also using this closure to upgrade our balance tank support structure. These essential upgrades will help ensure a better experience for all our visitors, and will reduce future service closures.

What services are impacted?
• CLOSED: Over the period, only the 50m pool will be closed.
IMPACTED: Cafe closing at 4pm. For the period of the pool closure the Cafe will be closing at 4pm. If you normally grab a post workout or lesson snack, please make other arrangements.
• OPEN: All other aquatic facilities will remain open, including the Learn to Swim Pool, Warm Water Pool Hall, Waterslides and Aquatic Playground. Importantly, this means that PARC Swim lessons in the 50m pool will not run.
