Centenary Park Golf Course has entered an exciting new chapter, with management of the much-loved Frankston facility now transitioned to Peninsula Leisure.
Peninsula Leisure will continue to deliver a high quality public golf experience for the Frankston community, with a focus on continuity, customer experience and community benefit.
Peninsula Leisure Chief Executive Officer Kath Thom said the organisation was proud to take on management of the course and build on its strong local legacy.
“Centenary Park Golf Course is an exceptional public golf course and a valued community asset that has been cared for and enjoyed by generations of local golfers,” Ms Thom said. “We’re committed to honouring that legacy and ensuring it continues to thrive as a welcoming, inclusive and well run public facility.”
“The focus moving forward is on consistency, exceptional customer experiences, and creating opportunities for more people to enjoy the game of golf.”
The transition follows a decision by Frankston City Council and supports Council’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community recreation assets across Frankston.
Peninsula Leisure, a wholly Council owned organisation, has an established reputation for delivering high-quality community sport, recreation and aquatic services, with a strong focus on community benefit and creating positive customer experiences. Peninsula Leisure currently manages Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre, Pines Forest Aquatic Centre and Frankston Skate Park.

“Centenary Park Golf Course is a fantastic facility with a strong community behind it,” Mr Cross said. “I’m excited to join Peninsula Leisure, and look forward to working with our team, golfers and the Golf Club to continue delivering great experiences and growing participation in the game.”
Long-standing Centenary Park team member Brodie Wool also continues in his role, bringing knowledge of the course and strong connections with the local golfing community.
Together, the team will support a smooth transition for golfers and ensure continuity of service from day one.
