Meet Eliot

Meet Eliot – one of our foundation members, he has visited 578 times since 2014. For years, Eliot has been an active person but struggled to keep the weight off. He tried many different diets with little success by always putting the weight back on again. At his heaviest, Eliot weighed in at 150 kilos and found himself in constant denial about how big he really was. It all hit him when one day he went shopping with his mum for new clothes and had to seek the biggest size the shop would sell – between a 7XL and 8XL. Following on from this, he made the decision to have a life-changing operation. Since having the operation less than 12 months ago he has lost an amazing 68 kilos and changed his health and lifestyle habits. Recently, Eliot completed his first Tough Mudder fitness challenge and looks forward to training for his next challenge later this year. His journey has not been an easy one but having initially weighed 150 kilos to now weighing 82 kilos, he feels he has made the right choice in life. Eliot is proud to share his story and we are just as proud to have helped him along the way. What an inspiration!

Farewell Julie Jansz 🩵

After 20 dedicated years developing young athletes and nurturing their passion for swimming Julie prepares to step away from her role as Head Coach with Flyers swim team to begin her well-earned retirement.

We wish Julie all the best as she enters this next exciting chapter of life and thank her for the contribution to swimming within our community.

Meet Ken! At 80 years old, he proves that age is just a number when it comes to strength and fitness. Seen here absolutely crushing powertucks on the outrace at Powerzone, he has been a beloved member of the PARC Health Club community since 2022.

It’s nearly time for our Sweat & Smile Zumba Party! Get ready for the ultimate dance-fitness celebration, on Sunday 17 May from 5pm – 6pm. It’s going to be a night full of fun, smiles and energising, international beats sure to get you moving and grooving.
