Meet the trainer: Joel

 Congratulations to Joel, who recently celebrated his 8th year at PARC! Joel is an asset to the PARC fam! He is a qualified personal trainer who PT’s clients 1:1 and 2:1 specialising in strength & condition, improving body composition and improving sports performance. Working closely with his PT clients, Joel designs a tailored program specific to his client’s goals. Joel also carries out Small Group PT sessions, where the focus is to build a strong foundation of the main movements and learning to progress and improve over time. Love ordering in dumplings and watching a series on Netflix.   What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? I’m a massive Harry Potter fan and I have seen all the films and can quote lines from every movie.   What advice would you give to anyone starting their own fitness journey? Aim to create a routine and a structure to your week with your training and nutrition. Where you introduce one habit at a time and build from there. Learn to enjoy the process and not focus on the end goal. Lastly be kind to yourself. Not every week will be perfect, do the best you can, and consistency is the key to change!   Thanks Joel for being a dedicated personal trainer and for your commitment to the PARC Team over the past 8 years!
