Frankston City Council welcomes new Directors of Peninsula Leisure

Frankston City Council has appointed three new Non-Executive Directors to the Board of Peninsula Leisure Pty Ltd.

New Director appointments to, 31 October 2021 are; Mr Paul Faulkner, Mr Scott Nathan and Mr Rob Hines. Following a strong level of interest, the three new appointments will join existing Directors Ms Roseanne Healy Mr Phillip Johnson on the Board.

Frankston City Mayor Councillor Colin Hampton said that the high-quality candidates were a testament to the success of Peninsula Leisure.

“We have continued to attract high quality candidates for these positions. This paired with the award-winning facilities managed and operated by the company demonstrates that Peninsula Leisure is a leader in the industry. It is a great outcome for Frankston City that we have this calibre of applicants wanting to work for our community.

“On behalf of Council and the community I would like to thank outgoing members Ms Barbara Cook, Professor David Shilbury and Mr Simon Allatson. Their service and direction during the important phase of establishing the award-winning facility has built a strong foundation, which continues to grow. With new state of the art facilities installed at PARC and a string of awards already, I am excited to see what the new team can achieve, with such a strong starting point” added Cr Hampton.

Winter is where safer swimmers are made 🏊

It might be getting colder outside, but now is actually the best time to keep your kids swimming.

New research from Royal Life Saving - Australia has revealed that nearly half of Aussie kids can't swim 50 metres or tread water for two minutes. It’s a worrying trend that’s putting young lives at risk.

At PARC Swim, we believe swimming is a life skill - not just a summer activity. That’s why our indoor pools are open year-round, with qualified teachers helping children grow in confidence, skill and water safety awareness every single week.

Plus, our swim families enjoy some pretty great benefits, including:
🌟 Unlimited access to our pools for your child and an accompanying adult
🌟 Free entry to Pines Forest Aquatic Centre in summer
🌟 Flexible make-up lessons
🌟 Discounts for families with multiple kids

🏊 Winter is where safer swimmers are made, there’s no better time to dive back in. Let’s keep our kids safer, stronger and swimming this winter. Learn more via our blog - link in bio
