Upcoming closures – Heating and cooling works

Upcoming closures at PARC – 8 & 9 December
Aircon, heating and cooling works

At PARC, we’re always working to improve your comfort and experience. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be completing several important upgrades to our air circulation and climate control systems across the building.

These projects will ensure better air quality, improved comfort, and long-term reliability throughout our facility. Please find details below, including what to expect and how we’re minimising any disruption.

Chiller Replacement Project – 8 to 12 December

From Monday 8 to Friday 12 December, we’ll be replacing our main rooftop chiller unit. A crane will be onsite to lift the new units onto the roof. Because parts of the building sit within the crane’s exclusion zone, we’ll need to close those areas for the duration of the works.

CLOSED Monday 8 December 7.00am – 3.30pm

  • Warm Water Pool Hall, including spa, sauna and steam
  • Group Exercise Studio 1 – no classes will run
  • Group Exercise Studio 2 – no classes will run
  • Cycle Studio – no classes will run
  • Allied Health Suites
  • Car park part closure – There will also be impacts to parking, with areas of the carpark closed to accommodate the crane.

OPEN The Main Pool Hall, Gym and Reformer Studio will be open as normal.

All areas will be back open from 3.30pm on Monday 8 December, for the remainder of the day.

CLOSED Tuesday 9 December 7.00am – 9.00am

  • Main entrance to PARC – members and guests will be able to access the building via the Group Entry on the member carpark side of the building. Staff will be onsite to support and direct you.
  • Cafe
  • Sections of the gym floor including the stretching area and InBody Scan area. No machines will be impacted.
  • There will also be impacts to parking, with areas of the carpark closed to accommodate the crane.

All areas will be back open from 9am on Tuesday 9 December and normal operations will resume.

Thank you for your patience

We appreciate your patience as we complete these essential improvements. Once all works are finished, you’ll enjoy a more comfortable, energy-efficient environment throughout the entire centre.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
