We’re removing the Waitlist

We’re striving to make our group exercise classes and Childcare sessions more accessible.

Thank you for your ongoing feedback on the utilisation of our group exercise classes. We have listened to your feedback and are trying something new: we are temporarily removing the waitlist for group exercise classes and childcare bookings.

Here’s what you need to know:

What to expect when booking into a Group Exercise Class or Childcare session

  • As usual, please book into a Group Exercise class or Childcare session via the Customer Portal.
  • Once a class or session is full, there will no longer be a waitlist.
  • When someone cancels from a class or session, a spot will open up in the portal.
  • When that spot opens up, any person can book in on a first come first serve basis (booking time frames for members and casuals still apply).
  • If there is not a spot available at the time you try to book, please keep checking back on the Portal regularly.
  • If you are booked into a class or session, and can no longer attend, please be sure to withdraw immediately to allow others to book.

How long will we be removing the waitlist for?

We will be running the trial for one month. At the end of the trial period, we will review class access and occupancy, review your feedback, and make a decision as to whether we continue with no waitlist or reinstate the waitlist.

The waitlist will be turned off on Monday 13 May at 11:59pm. If you are currently on a waitlist for a class from Tuesday 14 May, you will need to check the Group Exercise timetable or Childcare session to see if spots have become available.

How can you help?

There are 2 things that we need your help with:

1. Please cancel early. If you know you cannot attend a class, please withdraw right away. This will open up a spot for someone else to book in. If you need help with how to withdraw, please watch the “How To” video here LINK or read the steps here.
2. Share your feedback. We want to hear from you about this change. Our number one goal is to improve access to classes. Please share your thoughts and experiences with us by via our feedback form here – Feedback Form

We’re committed to improving access to all classes and sessions and your feedback is crucial in this process. We look forward to seeing how this trial goes and will report back in one month’s time as we review the results.
