International Women’s Day is recognised each year on the 8th of March to acknowledge and celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural and political achievements. This year’s International Women’s Day theme is ‘Balance the Scales’. This includes creating spaces for women and girls in sports, so that they are free to pursue their passions, and have the same opportunities.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, our team are hosting special events and activities at PINES and Frankston Skate Park.

All Girls Skate lessons
This International Women’s Day, the team at Skate are hosting additional sessions of our very popular, Girls Skate, to celebrate all the wonderful girls and women in our Skate community. The sessions are free and are delivered by our supportive and knowledgeable instructors.
