Member Success Story – Donna

The next PARC 8 Week Challenge kicks off July 22. Hear from Donna (left) who smashed her fitness goals in the last round.

‘8 weeks ago I was feeling sluggish, unmotivated and basically fed up with myself.  I saw the 8 week challenge pop up on social media and thought “ok I’m going to do this – I’m going to commit!” So I signed up and got ready for 8 weeks of what I thought would be hell!

Day one of the challenge I pretty much shed a tear when I saw the scale, this made me even more determined to see this challenge through no matter what. I chose the amazing Pru as my trainer, then literally never looked back (and to my delight it actually was not hell!).

After attending the nutrition seminars, I learned that I didn’t need to deny myself the food I enjoy, and with a bit of tweaking my diet I was actually eating more than before. I found I had so much more energy and really started looking forward to my training sessions. Eight weeks later, I had dropped 10.6kg and had a 7% body fat loss. My fitness level and strength had improved along with my general happiness.

I never thought I could commit to 8 days, let alone 8 weeks. With the help and support of Pru and all the amazing trainers at PARC, I made it through and really enjoyed the whole experience. Now I’m really looking forward to the next 8 week challenge, setting new goals, and being confident that I have the tools and support of Pru and the PARC team to help me achieve them.’
