Reformer Pilates Update

Reformer Pilates update:

Commencing Monday 9 September, we will be trialling 100% online bookings for all Reformer Pilates classes.

Recently we trialled 100% online bookings for classes before 8am and noticed a positive impact on our class attendance. As a result of this success, we would like to trial 100% online bookings for all Reformer Pilates classes. We have noticed high waitlist numbers for these classes however the in-Centre portion of spots aren’t always booking out. We are hoping that the 100% online booking trial will ensure our Reformer Pilates classes reach full attendance.

NEW Intro to Reformer Pilates classes
Commencing Monday 9 September we are adding two new Reformer Pilates introductory classes to the timetable:
Friday 6:00am
Saturday 2:35pm

Intro to Reformer Pilates is an entry level class designed for first time members regardless of age or fitness ability. This class is the perfect introduction to Pilates at PARC. We recommend members attend two intro classes, or until they feel comfortable, to familiarise themselves with the basic exercises and how to operate the reformer bed. Please feel free to ask the instructor for guidance with our progression to Reformer Pilates classes if you are unsure.

Book today via the My PARC app.

Have you heard of Habit Stacking? 🤔

It's a great way to add movement into your day by pairing small exercises with habits you already do - helping you be active and achieve 30-20-2, even when life is busy!

You can incorporate simple exercises into your daily task, such as:
- Squats while the kettle boils - turn waiting time into movement time.
- Calf raises while brushing your teeth - two minutes of strength, twice a day.
- Lunges down the hallway - every trip becomes a mini workout.
- Marching on the spot while folding laundry- complete some of your vigorous or moderate exercise every trip.
- Glute squeezes while sitting at your desk - perfect for busy workdays.

Remember, all movement counts 🙌
